Intake tips

Do not take the capsule or chewable tablet on an empty stomach, but during or directly after lunch or dinner. Before bedtime is also an option. With food in your stomach, the smaller the chance of nausea after taking a multivitamin.
The easiest way to swallow a capsule is with a sip of water or a sugar-free drink.
While swallowing a capsule, move your chin towards your chest and not backward.
Find the multivitamin too big to swallow? Open the capsule and take the contents (powder). Mix it with sugar-free applesauce or other sugar-free liquid foods. We recommend sugar-free foods because you may not be able to tolerate sugar and sugary foods after weight loss surgery.
Do you use dairy products or calcium supplements? Do not take them together with a multivitamin. Leave a minimum of 2 hours between taking the multivitamin and calcium supplements/dairy products.
Bonus tip: set a daily reminder on your phone. It will help you stay on track with your multivitamin intake.
