What happens if vitamin B6 is too high?

Vitamin B6 has an important role in the metabolism and usage of amino acids. (building blocks of proteins)

It also regulates the function of certain hormones and is needed for growth, blood production, a working imunesystem and nervoussystem.


If you have a high amount of vitamin B6 in the body for too long it can harm the the body in multiple ways. It can damage the nervoussystem, with tingling and nervepain in the hands and feet. This is also called neuropathy.
